My heart goes out for Mishel, she lost a lot this season.

She lost self-esteem, she got a broken heart, she lost a lot of public respect and now she’s claiming she got absolutely screwed financially because of the show.

She recently went on a podcast ‘Not Here To Make Friends’ and talked about the $40k debt she had accumulated whilst being on the show.

Here’s what I don’t get, and someone educate me because I’ve obviously never navigated medical insurance.

BUT, Mishel said that she tore her meniscus skiing when she went on her honeymoon with Steve.

‘I had the injury on the snowfield… so I tore my meniscus and had to have surgery and all up I’m in debt about $38,000,’ she said.

Now…if this was done on the show, during the show, for the show…wouldn’t they have insurance to cover this?

I’M SO CONFUSED. WOULDN’T THE SHOW PAY FOR THIS?? WHY ONE EARTH SHOULD MISHEL HAVE TO PAY FOR AN ACCIDENT THAT HAPPENED FILMING A STUPID SKI SCENE FOR A FAKE HONEYMOON WITH A FAKE HUSBAND FOR A REALITY SHOW??

I need to get a grip.

Mishel also refused to give names but she said there were other contestants who had also racked up some debts.
