McDonalds in the United States has made a drastic change to its menu in response to the pandemic.
The fast food chain has now pulled its all day breakfast menu as well as other options.
The change is in order to “simplify operations in our kitchens and for our crew, and ensure the best possible experience for our customer,” according to McDonald’s senior vice president of US operations Bill Garrett.
“We are working with our franchisees and local restaurants to focus on serving our most popular choices and will begin temporarily removing some items from the menu over the next few weeks,” he said in a statement.
The changes won’t last too long, with US president Joe Erlinger tweeting: “All day breakfast’s response to this news: ‘I’ll be back.’”
No changes have been made to the Australian Maccas menu as yet.
