Mick Jagger was in New York Friday night for the premiere of his HBO series, Vinyl.

While walking the red carpet, he was asked about the death of his friend David Bowie. Jagger said it was the time they spent together in the Big Apple that he remembers most fondly. “We used to go out in New York a lot,” said Jagger. “We used to go out dancing all the time. We had fun times. It’s nice to remember them.”

And it’s the two of them dancing together that will remain a fond memory for Jagger’s son James, who stars in Vinyl. He says, “The ‘Dancing in the Street’ video [they made together] is hilarious. Whenever I’m feeling blue, I just Google ‘Dancing in the Street’ and it makes me laugh. It’s so ’80s, it’s amazing.”

Bowie died on January 10th from cancer, two days after his 69th birthday.
