After gifting us the wholesomeness that is their Bee Gees tribute band, Dave Grohl professing his dream of drumming for ABBA and several documentaries comes the Foo Fighters’ next project.

Starring Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and directed by BJ McDonnell, the horror comedy STUDIO 666 is set for release on February 25 in the US, with an international release to follow.

The movie poster was released today, looking like it’s straight outta Stranger Things.

‘In STUDIO 666, the band move into a mansion steeped in grisly rock n’ roll history to record their much-anticipated 10th album,’ the synopsis reads.

‘Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.’

“After decades of ridiculous music videos and numerous music documentaries under our collective belts, it was finally time to take it to the next level… a full-length feature horror comedy film,” Grohl said in a press release.

“Be ready to laugh, scream, and headbang in your popcorn. Studio 666 will f*ck you up.”
