The Foo Fighters kicked off their summer tour with a two-and-a-half hour show in Cincinnati that included a tribute to the late ZZ Top bassist, Dusty Hill.
They took some time during the show to bust out a medley of ZZ Top covers, including ‘La Grange.’
Drummer Taylor Hawkins also wore a shirt that read, ‘Dusty RIP.’
ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons and Dave Grohl are connected over some upcoming Queens Of The Stone Age material, and he also appeared in Foo Fighters’ Grohl-directed Sonic Highways documentary series.
