One of the Foo Fighters’ most pivotal albums, The Colour and the Shape, turned 23 this week.

It was released on May 20, 1997.

Although it’s the band’s second album, it’s widely considered their ‘official debut’ as a band and features tracks that would easily make any Foos’ ‘best of’ album: Monkey Wrench, My Hero, Walking After You and Everlong.
