Jon Bon Jovi has revealed why he’d never play a Super Bowl halftime show.

Honestly, this should be a pub trivia question because I 100% thought Bon Jovi had actually played one.

In a recent interview on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, Jon Bon said he had “no desire” to play one.

“I turned it down many years ago. … I didn’t like that you had to team up with other people, that you have these people coming on your stage and all the demands, all the pressures.”

He added that he wasn’t even interested to play the iconic show, when it was in his hometown of New Jersey, saying it was “too obvious”.

There was one time, however, that Jon Bon was interested in the gig.

“The last time, honest to God, that we were at all interested was back when they had it in Dallas, and we didn’t get it. I said, ‘That’s the end of it. I won’t even talk about it again.’

“Some of the performances have been unbelievable [like Prince and U2],

“But [it’s] not for me.”
