Netflix’s tech-focused, animated anthology series for adults, has been renewed for a second season.
If you’re anything like me and mowed through Season 5 of Black Mirror in one sitting and feeling somewhat disappointed, Love, Death and Robots might just fill the void.
If you haven’t already seen it, the first season was made up of 18 stories, ranging from an easy-to-digest 6 to 17 minutes in length and use various animation styles, are a mix of science fiction, futurism, horror, and dark comedy.

Controversially, Netflix even switched up the episode order for some viewers.
Anyway, what we know is that a second season is in the works and that the supervising director will be Kung Fu Panda’s Jennifer Yuh Nelson.

What we don’t know is how many episodes or when they’ll be released.
David Fincher, the man behind the series (and the director of Fight Club and Seven), said they always thought there was an audience for Love, Death And Robots, but admitted it had been “a very difficult thing to pitch.”
“What we wanted to do was find stories and find artists and find directors, animators, production companies that we could build a sandbox for. Hopefully they’ll take root, and hopefully, we’ll get to make more weird, different kind of stuff.”
If you haven’t seen it, it’s time to catch up.
turned out the animations of some eps /really/ are that realistic and insanely good. stories are great, too. the only downside for me is the excessive amount of unnecessary nudity which made me feel uncomfortable :\

I cannot express enough how amazing the anthology series “Love Death and Robots” is. Give it a check on Netflix. 18 short episodes (all less than 20 minutes in duration), and if you love Black Mirror, animation, and sci-fi horror, you’ll definitely love this. #lovedeathrobots

Black Mirror is one crazy show, but Love Death Robots is even crazier, by tenfold!
Love it!

I just started Love, Death and Robots this weekend…and finished it this weekend. Seriously brilliant stuff, and the best sci-fi anthology since Black Mirror. Can’t wait to see what they do next. https://t.co/kkMI82HOZ5
