Bohemian Rhapsody may have stolen the show at the Golden Globes, winning Best Actor- Drama & also the big prize of Best Picture – Drama but there is a slight problem..

The film is proving to be the worst received film by the public and critics in the last 33 years of the Golden Globes.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, which takes critical reviews from certified reviewers and publications, has determined that the movie has the lowest positive reviews of all best picture winners in over three decades.

Bohemian Rhapsody current sits with a 62% positive rating but was labelled as a ‘Rotten’ film before its release.

The previous lowest rating film was Meryl Steep’s Out Of Africa, which sits on 60%.

Common complaints about the film have been the handling of Freddie Mercury’s sexuality, the script, and the altering of the real-life timeline of events.

However, the main positives have been about Rami Malek’s performance and the expansive musical sequences.
