Prince George is already prepping to take on English, Maths, History, Science and Geography subjects as his new school year approaches.

Woah! I don’t remember grade 2 being that intense, do you? I mean, I remember ‘show and tell Monday’s’ and ‘heads down, thumbs up Friday’s’.

As Will and Kate’s eldest prepares for grade 2 starting early September, the reported curriculum is out of this world!

As well as taking on core subjects English, Maths, History, Science and Geography, young George will also learn French, Design Technology, Ballet, Music, Drama and Physical Education…

That’s almost double the number of classes I took in my senior year and that was grade 12, not grade 2!

Helen Haslem, Head of Lower School says “The curriculum presented in Year 2 reflects the increased ability of the children, both academically and socially.”

She continues, “The children are asked to become more responsible in Year 2; this may start with the children recording their own homework in their diaries. This increasing independence allows for a smooth transition to the Prep School.”

No doubt Prince George will ace every subject thrown at him and put us all to shame with his academic and cultural endeavors.
