Brian Canham has a busy day ahead of him picking up all the names he dropped while chatting to Botica’s Bunch on Monday.

Thing is, when you’ve toured with 80s pop/rock royalty… as pop/rock royalty… not only can you drop as many names as you like, we are frothing to hear all about it.

The Pseudo Echo frontman recalled touring with huge names such as Stevie Wonder, Human League, Simple Minds, Eurythmics, Ultravox and even a local Aussie band called INXS.

However, before playing with the big guns… Canham had some fond memories of playing completely sold-out gigs in Perth at some of our best 80s venues.

“When we came to Perth, we were right on the cusp of releasing Autumnal Park,” he recalled.

“We had a very enthusiastic fan base and we’d play at The Raffles, The Red Parrot, The Generator and they were all sold out.”
