The WA government has announced plans for a tribute for the frontman, who had lived in Fremantle.
Bands like Japanese female trio Shonen Knife and bluegrass outfit Steve and the Seagulls – and a stack of others – will perform Accadacca tracks as they move along the 10km stretch on flat-bed trucks.
Hyped at the ‘Highway To Hell’, the road will be blocked off between Canning Bridge and the Fremantle Traffic Bridge on March 1.
It’ll be the final act of the 2020 Perth Festival.
