An inflatable sheep which was part of a 5-year-old’s costume for his school nativity play was actually a sex doll, one mortified mum has discovered.

Helen Cox, 46, bought the sheep online as part of her son Alfie’s nativity costume but was confused when a teacher had told him to take it home.

“It was part of his costume and I thought he might have been naughty and snuck it out of school,” she said.

It wasn’t until, however, she decided to inflate it at home… and discovered its red lips, eyelashes and huge hole in its backside.

“I just can’t believe it. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! How am I going to explain this to his teachers?” she said.

“I have no idea if they’ve seen it was a sex toy and that’s why they sent it home – I’m mortified!”

When she bought her son’s outfit off Amazon, it was listed as “Labreeze kids boys brown shepherd costume inflatable sheep nativity fancy dress outfit”.

But then she found the exact same sheep prop on sale elsewhere on the site… thing is, it wasn’t exact, I mean, the fact that it was listed as “Stag Night Bonkin’ Sheep’ should’ve been a dead giveaway, but hey, a good price can do weird things to people.

Alfie reckons the sheep is pretty tops though.

“I told him it didn’t look like a proper sheep because it had a moustache, red lipstick and a bow on its head, but he still wanted to play with it. I couldn’t think of any more reasons why not,” Helen said.

“He’s probably in his room right now stuffing Lego in the hole.”

Since learning of the incident, Amazon has removed the sheep from its website, saying that the seller did not meet the retailer’s guidelines.
