A snake has been spotted snacking on a goddamn lizard on North Cottesloe, confirming that, in or out of the water, nowhere is safe on the beach.

PerthNow vid journo Georgio Savini saw the slithery nope rope while visiting the beach on Monday, which he later learned to be a dugite.

Dugites aren’t uncommon along the coast, particularly during the warmer weather when they come out of hibernation looking for food and gettin’ it on with other dugites.

Keep in mind these things are highly venomous, so watch yourself around dunes and bushes.
