It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly eight years since our all time fave music quiz show Spicks And Specks last aired on TV (Let’s not speak about the revived series from 2014).
Running on the ABC From 2005 until 2011, watching the show was a Wednesday ritual in a heap of Aussie homes.
And now FINALLY our prayers have been answered with news that original host Adam Hills and team captains Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst are getting back together!
A one-off reunion special is set to air this November.
Both Myf and Adam took to Twitter to confirm the exciting news after TV writer Colin Vickery shared the news earlier this week.
The word is out. Spicks & Specks reunion here we come… https://t.co/eyiqqRENqF

Myf Warhurst revealed: of the beloved show’s return: “I absolutely can’t wait to do this,”
“I am so excited to get the band back together for the reunion.”
“Sure, a few years have passed, a few more grey hairs have appeared, many things have dropped and I promise you we’ll be a bit slower on the buzzers answering questions, but we’re ready to do this. An added bonus is that this reunion is all about celebrating and showcasing Australian music for Ausmusic month so we were all easily convinced.”
Adam Hills explained his excitement as well: “Like most music acts, Myf, Alan and I are getting the band back together for one last gig,”
“Unlike most music acts, we all still get along with each other, and can’t wait to spend some time in each other’s company.”
The hour-long, one-off special is set to be broadcast in November on the ABC, however the exact date has not yet been revealed.
