Three out of control and unpredictable bushfires are threatening lives and homes in Western Australia.

An emergency warning was issued for Baldivis in Perth’s south just after 11am on Thursday, with authorities warning weather conditions are erratic.

The fast-moving fire started near an intersection on Kwinana Freeway, which has been closed south of Mundijong Road.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

An emergency warning is also in place for Jarrahwood, between Busselton and Nannup.

An evacuation centre has been set up at the Geographe Leisure Centre.

A third emergency warning has been issued for Vasse Plantation, south-west of Busselton.

The blaze, along with the Jarrahwood fire, was sparked by an escape from pine harvest debris burns.

It is burning towards Osmington Road near Margaret River.
