Looks like it’s time to bring back the iconic laugh of two classic animated characters!
Nineties animated comedy series Beavis and Butt-Head is officially getting a reboot!
Comedy Central has ordered two new seasons of the reimagined series where the two characters will be “entering a whole new Gen Z world”.
The show’s creator Mike Judge is on board to write, produce and provide voice over for the two main characters.
“Beavis and Butt-Head were a defining voice of a generation, and we can’t wait to watch as they navigate the treacherous waters of a world light-years from their own,” said Comedy Central President of Entertainment and Youth Group, Chris McCarthy.
“It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again,” Judge added.
The show originally ran from 1993 to 1997 and eve got a film in 1996 called Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.
It originally got a reboot on MTV in 2011 for one season.
