Intimate scenes from Netflix’s new show Bridgerton have been pirated and shared to adult streaming sites.

The steamy scenes have left Netflix scrambling to remove the footage – which features actors Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor – from the sites.

Lead actress Phoebe Dynevor is reportedly “devastated” over the news, according to The Sun.

“Bridgerton’s sex scenes appearing alongside some of the most obscene material the web has to offer has sparked horror and anger,” an insider told the publication.

“Raunchy set pieces have contributed to the buzz but it is a prestige drama based on best-selling novels.”

They added, “It’s been particularly distressing for Phoebe and Regé-Jean, two young actors who signed on for the role of a lifetime and did not consent to being exploited in this way.

“Netflix have been working tirelessly to hunt down pirates and eliminate misuse of their intellectual property.”

The news comes after the show surpassed 63 million viewers around the world.
