The Masked Singer Australia kicked off this week and with Vinnie Jones and George Calombaris as the first two celebrities to be unmasked, the show has kicked off to a GREAT start.

But who’s under the rest of the masks?

Let’s get a-guessing.


I love me a food-themed costume so naturally, Pavlova is one of my favourites this year.

So far the clues are:

  • I’m a Pavlova. Crusty on the outside. But tender inside.
  • I love the kitchen. It’s my happy place. Croissants, eclairs, gateau, vol-au-vent.
  • If I could make baking a competitive sport…I would. Mon Dieu!
  • My dream came to me when I was young. I had a real talent. And I haven’t stopped since.
  • How do I keep my gorgeous pavlova figure? Don’t Ask. What I will say is that when push comes to shove, I manage.
  • I spent a lot of my childhood down south in the hills.
  • When asked by the judges if she was born in WA, Pavlova replied “All of Australia is my playground, but I have special feelings for WA’s birdlife.”


Kebab is my #1 favourite costume this year and I’m tipping them to win and between you and me… I think it’s Jack Vidgen.

So far the clues are:

  • I’m the Kebab and I reckon I got the lot. I never stop.
  • I’m at it all day, every day. There’s nothing else I ever wanted to be.
  • I like the inner city. Quiet at times but a bit of hot sauce… I go off, a real wild one.
  • Psst. I’ll let you in on a little secret. I get kissed by strangers.
  • It’s great being the Kebab and working for yourself. If you’re not the type who needs other people.
  • When asked if they were a man or woman, Kebab said, “Here’s what I can say about that. Mostly I’m one. but I have been known to be the other.”


Clues so far…

  • I’m baby and I don’t ever want to grow up.
  • I love flowers. I’ve been around them all my life.
  • I’m a baby so I’m short, but not short for anything in particular.
  • Aren’t these animals perfect? Well, I don’t like perfection. It makes me go wahh! wahh!
  • Am I the type to spit the dummy? I am not. That’s a nasty web you weave when you do that. And watch out for the spider bites.
  • I’ve been front and centre. And I’ve been on the wings. Front and centre is better.
  • “I stand up for what I believe in. And I am known for having a laugh,” they responded to the question of whether they’re a comedian.


Clues so far…

  • I’m taking a bit stick to the opposition.
  • I’ve moved many, many times, chasing my dreams. Luckily I’m comfortable with both home and away…
  • Pinata don’t have claws…usually. I’ve learnt to be aggressive.
  • Other times, I’m soft and cuddly.
  • When I started my career, I had the luck of the Irish and my luck never really left me. I’d bet my name on it.
  • Although I did back the wrong group in Melbourne.
  • My brethren have supported me all the way. To be sure, to be sure.
  • You’d never guess I was a scholar. Looks can be deceiving. Right?
  • You haven’t seen everything Piñata has to offer. I’ve got plenty of surprises inside.
  • “Let me say this much. Australia has become my home away from home.”


Clues so far…

  • I’ve spent years by the water. And I had my fair share of battles… those night vision goggles belong to the army.
  • I like the spotlight, but I’ve had more than a few sleepless nights. My answer is to take the show on the road.
  • I’m not really into strict routine. I prefer to improvise. I know it’s not the way to make a big hit. But beggars can’t be choosers.
  • I’ve never really been the boss. But I’ve been known to take your breath away. That’s official.
  • “I don’t need to get my hair wet anymore” was Mullet’s response to a question whether he’s a swimmer.


Clues so far…

  • I’m Dolly and I’m quite the young lady, but underneath is a different story.
  • Just because I am a dolly, it’s doesn’t mean I’m a toy.
  • I’ve always aimed high. Good enough is never enough. Things have to be just so.
  • I don’t mind a bit of back and forth… In fact, I’m rather famous for it.
  • Everyone expects Dolly to be a good girl. Well… I’m the type of dolly I want to pretend.
  • My dreams aren’t what they used to be. I’ve been through a change and I am definitely off the leash!
  • People think dollies should be seen not heard… Well not THIS Dolly.
  • “My earliest childhood dreams were to take on the entire world and beat them.”


Is anyone else kinda hot for the professor?

  • I’m the Professor and I want to make the world a better place.
  • Am I opinionated? The answer must be yes, but that’s not news.
  • Knowledge is very important to me, even if it’s not the type you find at university.
  • Our m other universeis huge. The possibilities for love are just as big as long as we have some faith.
  • I’m a scientist. I don’t believe in conspiracy theories. I’m always searching for the answer for the right cues.
  • I like to think outside the square, it makes me an outsider but that’s okay.
  • I like to break stereotypes and go where others don’t.
  • Has he been on The Bachelor or Bachelor in Paradise, “I have certainly been a bachelor at times in my life. But to me, love it paradise.”


Clues so far…

  • I am VAMPIRE and I’m eternal, I don’t fear daylight, I embrace it and it embraced me.
  • It fed me when I was needing it, I am the child of vampires. Who I am runs through my blood. But vampires age slowly.
  • As a vampire, I have unexpected power. I don’t wish to be unkind but do not underestimate me.
  • Werewolves fear gold, Vampires do not. We revel in it, the heavier the better.
  • When asked if she came from an entertainment family, “Although vampires can be made, the purest vampire has it in the blood from birth.”

Uh… sounds like nepotism to me.



Clues so far…

  • I am Lightning, you never know where I’ll strike next.
  • Lightning affects the airwaves and my interference got noticed young.
  • I know how to make you notice me.
  • I made other waves when I was young too, solid-state, absolutely, but I left the goals behind.
  • Am I driven? More… self-directed.
  • Following the path of least resistance, going with the flow.
  • Not too many wrong turns, although one crash did hurt.
  • I’ve been richer, and I’ve been poor. Nine months a year without a home.
  • Don’t overestimate a good education.
  • “Travel hasn’t always been my choice. But it led to my fame.”


I love the colours in Atlantis’s costume but I’m LOST.

Clues so far…

  • I am the great Atlantis, and I am the queen of all I see.
  • I am a goddess of water. I am fluid, taking many shapes and forms. But I have been punished just for being who I am and I have been rewarded for the same reason.
  • I am a creature of the sea, the ocean was my original home.
  • The land holds mystery and disappointment for me.
  • My world is colourful, but you wouldn’t know it. It’s not just black and white.
  • Fashions come and go, but words can last forever, life is like that.
  • I heard the siren of Hollywood many times but Washington only once, it was one of life’s happy accidents.
  • I am Atlantis and I shall be your queen.
  • “As Queen, I am whatever I choose to be. I am familiar with being someone else” she replied to a question about being an actor/actress.
