HOLD THE PHONE because Netflix just announced their new reality show about Byron Bay influencers called…
As we all know, Byron is like a magnet for influencers. Creating an idealistic Instagram life of chilled brunches, naturally bronzed beauties, and festivals of all festivals that bring out the most OUTRAGEOUS outfits. #boho
Byron Baes is set to follow around the MANY influencers living the ‘insta-worthy’ life in Byron, as they go about their hustle, finding love and happiness and finding “the validation of the people around them and people online,” said Que Minh Luu, Netflix’s director of content for Australia and New Zealand.
Netflix hasn’t released any details about who will feature or when it will be hitting our screens, but there are rumours that Elyse Knowles, 2017 winner of The Block and now model, could be in the cast.
Now, as to what to expect from the show. Netflix tweeted an image of a postcard stating the ‘docu-soap’ is going to be filled with drama *cough* I mean content…yeah content.
“Announcing Byron Baes, a docu-soap series following a ‘feed’ of hot Instagrammers living their best lives, being their best selves, creating the best d̶r̶a̶m̶a̶ content. #nofilter guaranteed.”
“But PLOT TWIST: don’t write these Baes off too quickly. There’ll be fights, flings and heartbreak but beneath every perfect post is a very real desire not just for ‘likes’ but to be liked, dammit, for who you are (so relatable).
We can’t wait for you to meet our Baes! 😎☀️ pic.twitter.com/FV7TAevnza

Okay so like Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Bling Empire vibes and less MAFS (thank god).
The season is set to have 8 eps of juicy insta drama and most likely based on how it goes, we could be getting a season 2.
Emma Lamb (from Married at First Sight Australia, The Real Housewives of Sydney) will act as the Executive Producer, with the show produced by Eureka Productions.
The CEO of Eureka Productions said, “With a compelling cast, spectacular settings and some truly addictive drama, Byron Baes has all the binge-worthy ingredients. Eureka is thrilled to be working with Netflix on this love letter to one of the world’s most perfect playgrounds.”
