Just two months out, Australia Post have revealed the dates you need to get cards and pressies sent so they’ll arrive in time for Christmas.
The cut-off date for shipping regular Parcel Post from WA to anywhere in Australia is December 8.
If you are running a little behind, you can chip in a few extra bucks for Express Post by December 15.
If you’re sending cards or the annual Christmas Letter within the state, you need to get them posted by December 20. If they need to be sent interstate, the cut-off is December 16.
Be aware this is for metro locations. If you’re sending from outside a metro area, Australia Post recommend posting even earlier.
If you’re sending pressies overseas, cut-off dates vary depending on the destination, chosen delivery services, custom delays and other disruptions, and the official advice is just to send as early as possible.
