More than 400 blokes named Nigel recently came together at a British pub to “celebrate Nigelness”.
Exactly 433 Nigels rocked up to the Fleece Inn in Worcestershire, according to landlord Nigel Smith.
The Nigel-theme came about when, a couple of years ago, he discovered that there had been no babies named Nigel in 2016.
This year, he finally got around to arranging the event, with the advert going viral on Facebook.
“We got some 433 Nigels there last night, plus about another thousand non-Nigels who’d just come along for a laugh,” he said.
All Nigels had to prove their name with a passport or driver’s licence to get a free pint and a Nigel badge.
Congratulations Nigel Smith landlord of @TheFleeceInn #Bretforton #Worcestershire for organising the record breaking gathering of Nigels at #NigelNight this evening. People came from all over the UK and as far as Australia! pic.twitter.com/M6JvTqg7uF
