Bunnings Warehouse has announced a nationwide fundraiser for bushfire relief efforts.. and it means sausages will be sold everywhere.
Workers from the DIY store will click the BBQ tongs on Friday, January 24 from 9am to 4pm, with all profits from every sausage sanger going to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
In a statement, Bunnings CEO Debbie Poole said “team members will work the BBQs in every location”, including the company’s New Zealand stores.
Customers who cannot make it to a sizzle can donate online, too.
This will be the second time that Bunnings has undertaken a bushfire fundraiser, with $600,000 donated to Givit in November.
