A busy arvo ahead for local newsagencies and Lotto outlets with an eye-watering $60 million up for grabs in tonight’s Powerball.

It’s only the third time this calendar year that jackpot has pulled these sorts of numbers and, if a WA player pockets the lot, it’ll be a record-breaker.

“If a WA player wins tonight, it would be the biggest win in Lotto history,” LotteryWest’s James Mooney told 96FM.

“At the moment, our record is a Perth family who took home the entire $50 million Powerball prize in 2015, so we’d love to beat that.”

It’s expected that around 450,000 tickets will be sold before the 6pm cut-off.
