After years of missing out, vegans of Australia can finally heap scoops of Milo into their glasses of plant-based milk alternatives.
A new plant-based Milo will be popping up on the shelves of supermarkets this week, and swaps out the standard milk powders for soy proteins and corn fibre…we don’t know what that means either.
Most importantly, by many accounts it tastes pretty similar to your traditional dairy-stuffed Milo, although we’re not sure if a soy milk Milo is acceptable.

One thing’s for sure, you still need to add AT LEAST six scoops to your glass, otherwise you might as well just be drinking a glass of plain milk.
The new addition to the Milo range joins the slightly healthier version which joined the range last year with 30% less sugar.
Now, the non-vegans of the world just need to lobby Nestlé to bring the Milo bar back to our shelves.
Oh, and a gluten-free Milo too.
The plant-based Milo is now available in Coles Supermarkets.
