There is nothing better in the stinking heat than icy poles and ice cold beer and now a Victorian brewery is combing them both.

Blackman’s Brewery will unveil its Frosty Fruit Gose on Friday, a summery beer that has been crafted in conjunction with the Local Taphouse in St Kilda.

Kegs of the beer will be opened at the Blackman’s Brewery bars in both Torquay and Geelong on Friday, with the seasonal brew only available for a limited time.

“The Frosty Fruit Gose is a fun and tropical Gose, loaded up with 40 boxes of Frosty Fruit icy poles, Torquay sea water and dry hopped with some tropical US Hops,” the Blackman’s team said on Facebook

Blackman’s Brewery and Restaurant (26 Bell St, Torquay) opens at 12pm on Friday, while Blackman’s Brew Bar (Denny’s Place, off Little Malop St) opens from 3.30pm.
