Just days after learning that a cheese conveyor belt restaurant had just opened in London, comes this truly heart-stopping news.

Our Kiwi cousins are getting a sushi train, but not for sushi… for KFC.

It’s to celebrate their new, limited edition, Teriyaki Double Down.

OK, sit down, because this burger is made up of two KFC fillets bacon, cheese, a hashbrown, topped with Kewpie Mayo and Teriyaki sauce.  Sushi rolled with classics like popcorn chicken, chips and tenders will also be on the conveyor belt.

Sadly, the KFC sushi train will only be around for one day *cancels permanent move to NZ*

So, being Australians, the only thing left to do is to adopt this idea immediately and claim it as our own.

If you want to flag it with your NZ mates, let them know the KFC sushi train will be at the Fort Street outlet in Auckland on Monday, September 16 annnnnnd they’ have to register here  for their chance to win a spot.

Aussies can, however, be in the running to have their wedding organised by the Colonel, so not all is lost.
