Swannies Fish & Chips in Middle Swan have taken a bread roll, filled it with chips and gravy… then, they’ve DEEP FRIED IT.

Have mercy on my soul.

“It’s crunchy on the outside, then lovely and soft on the inside!!!” Swannies posted to Facebook, accurately describing their new ‘Deep Fried Chip Butty’ as “carbs on carbs”.

The online response from punters has been mostly a tag-fest, with one saying they didn’t even care that they couldn’t eat gluten, “I’d bomb my intestines in a heartbeat for this.”
