If you spent the evening just scrolling the internet for hours on end, you may have found heaps of your favourite websites were down.

Well, it’s because a CDN, or content distribution network, called Fastly reported a disruption from a “service configuration”, which caused high-traffic websites like Reddit, Amazon, CNN, PayPal, Spotify and the New York Times to go down… it also caused most of the world to make a beeline for Twitter to complain.

Fastly did not explain further what the issue was.

In some good news, though.
