If you’ve been thinking about heading up north, guys, now is the time.
The WA Government, with Virgin Australia and Qantas, has subsidised 50,000 airfares to and from Broome, Exmouth and Kununurra.
Seats start at just $149 to Exmouth, $199 to Broome and $249 to Kununurra, one-way. The same discounts apply for travel from Broome, Kununurra or Exmouth to Perth.
Best of all, the fares are on sale like right now.
“This is the single biggest regional aviation partnership Western Australia has ever seen,” Premier Mark McGowan said on Monday.
“The tourism industry in the state’s north has felt the impacts of COVID-19 the most, with its remoteness making it more difficult to attract intrastate tourists.”
“We are very pleased to again be working with Virgin Australia and Qantas to help Western Australians discover their own backyard at a more affordable price.”
