A two-metre bull shark has been sighted not far from Blackwall Reach, where a man was attacked earlier this month.

It was spotted near the Swan Yacht Club, about 2.5kms downstream from Blackwall Reach, about 6.45am on Wednesday.

It follows another bull shark sighting – also two-metres long – near the Canning Bridge on Saturday.

On January 14, a three-metre bull shark attacked swimmer Cameron Wrathall, 54, while swimming near Blackwall Reach, a popular cliff-jump spot.

Mr Wrathall was the first person to be attacked by a shark in the Swan River since 1968.
