It took just 15 days, but the Baysie Bridge has woken for another feed.

On Thursday morning, the notorious 3.8-metre bridge claimed it’s fourth victim for 2021.

It was roughly 10.45am when the truck ran the gauntlet, driving straight into the bridge’s clutches, and lost.

The last time the bridge was struck was March 31.

The bridge, which has not one but two signs declaring its 3.8m clearance, has now been struck a grand total of 11 times since April last year.

It could be the last supper for local legend, after a $250m contract was awarded for the Bayswater train station upgrade.
