WA has been given a shoutout during the Super Bowl 55 coverage out of the US.
While commentating the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, ESPN sportscaster Steve Levy made special mention of WA’s recent bushfires.
“We just want to say we’re thinking about all the people impacted by those bushfires in Perth, Western Australia,” Levy said.
“A lot of lost property, impacting people’s lives. We want you to know we’re thinking about you and wishing for the best to get through this whole thing.”
West Aussies watching the live broadcast were nothing short of thrilled.
