The local building market is booming so hard, it’s been reported that tradies are getting approached, and poached, to work on rival job sites.
According to WAtoday, one local bricklayer he has never seen anything like it.
“Five or seven years ago there was a boom but at the minute we are in such high demand, our rates are going up hugely and I’m saying ‘no’ more than I ever have in my life,” West Coast Brick and Stone’s Jason Cherry said.
The Bunch had a chat about what’s known as ‘slab season’ this morning.
“I thought that slab season meant something else,” Lisa deadpanned.
