While the ANZAC Dawn Service looks set to resume almost as we know it, Premier Mark McGowan is also hopeful another act of remembrance will become tradition.

“It was really sweet,” he said of the candlelight vigils which were held in driveways across Australia last year.

While they were originally undertaken as a way of paying respects while also being socially distant during COVID, driveway vigils could be a good alternative for those who are unable to attend an official service.

McGowan was certain that the RSLWA were keen to keep it, he reminded listeners the Dawn Service at Kings Park was returning.
