It’s estimated that one-in-four Aussies will have a ticket in Thursday night’s Powerball which has jackpotted to an eye-watering $80 million.

But one person who thinks twice before buying a ticket is Mark McGowan.

He told The Bunch there were a couple of reasons why… one being that he’s the minister responsible for Lotterywest.

“Oh no!” Clairsy exclaimed. “Would you even be allowed to?”

“Well, I suppose if I go into a shop and buy a ticket I’m allowed to win,” McGowan replied.

He continued with a story of how he actually thought he had won last year – and was terrified.
