One of the biggest guitar festivals in Australia is back!
Now in its second year, the inaugural Strings Attached: The West Australian Guitar Festival attracted close to 8,000 lovers of guitars, basses, ukuleles, mandolins, banjos and more.
For three days this October, Margaret River will become the capital of electric and acoustic guitar-fuelled entertainment.
Not only will the weekend be packed with workshops, masterclasses, Q&A’s and presentations but the sheer amount of live music is jaw-dropping.
Lovers of live music can expect everything from Blues & Roots, World, Jazz, Metal & Rock, Country and Classical… featuring players from around the country including:
- Jeff Lang ‘Australia’s best roots music artisan’ (Rolling Stone)
- The Waifs’ Josh Cunningham & Felicity Urquhart, with 4 ARIA wins, 12 ARIA nominations and 13 Golden Guitars between them
- Grace Barbe, WA Music’s reigning Best Bass Player
- Jordan Mac, 12-string fingerstyle shredder
And this is just the first announcement of artists, so you can imagine what’s to come.
The first release weekend passes go on sale from today, Monday, June 21… with day passes and tix to individual events will go on sale in August.
