No masks, no capacity or crowd limits, no service restrictions, no limits on hospital or aged care visits and the return of dancefloors, major events and standing crowds at live performances – this is what Perth will probably look like on Monday morning.
Only a handful of restrictions will remain, such as the controlled border arrangements and restrictions on travel to remote communities.
Contact registers will also remain mandatory at most WA venues.
Premier Mark McGowan made the announcement on Friday, along with an assistance grant for small business affected by the recent lockdown.
“I’m glad to announce my government will provide small business lockdown assistance grants of $3000,” he said.
These will be open to businesses affected by the most recent lockdown
McGowan said the amount was increased this time around to reflect that this lockdown lasted four days and occurred during the working week. They will also be available to eligible small businesses in regional WA.
