While we’re still seeing the last splutters of summer… a mega pop-up event heading to Perth that’s getting us absolutely hyped for winter.

The alpine-inspired Winter Village will pop-up for three whole months, kicking off in May at Perth’s Ice Cream Factory in Northbridge.

We’re talking full winter wonderland – an ice skating rink, an igloo village, snow showers and food & drink pop-ups dishing up dirty fries, mac & cheese croquettes, lobster & prawn rolls and giant pretzels. Decadent hot chocolate is on the menu to keep you nice and toasty and cocktails for those looking for an extra kick.

They’re even whipping up espresso martini-flavoured chocolate fudge dipping sauce to use with brownies, berries and marshmallows. Oh my god.

The outdoor ice-skating rink is definitely one of the highlights. Skate passes are for $18 for children and $26 for adults (includes skates and helmet hire) for a 45 minute session.

The other highlight would have to be the private igloos. The Winter Village will have 20 decked out with comfy armchairs, soft cushions and twinkling fairy lights which are bookable for 1 hour 45 minute sessions for 2-5 people.
