Monday was a big day for Channel Ten, and they almost nailed it.
It was the first Perth bulletin broadcast from the eastern states after the sacking of Perth anchors Monika Kos, Tim Gossage and Michael Schultz.
The bulletin was beamed in from three different places – Lachy Reid presented sport from Perth, Narelda Jacobs read the news from Sydney and the weather came from Josh Holt in Brisbane.
It was during Holt’s third weather update for the evening where he referred to Perth as ‘Brisbane city’.
“…for Brisbane city a top of 26 degrees tomorrow that is still six degrees above average…”.
It’s understood that under the reshuffle, Holt now presents three different state weather bulletins on the same night.
