Forget Halloween, Perth has woken up to a solid ‘Hail-o-ween’ event on Thursday.
Social media lit up around 7am with pix and vids of hail, with reports of it falling in our southern suburbs, including Baysie, Baldivis and Queens Park.
Bursts of showers are earmarked throughout the day – heaviest falls are expected in the hills later this arvo.
Other than some of Tony Galati’s onions getting ‘touched up’ near Myalup, no major damage has been reported.
Well that was unexpected! Hail in Bayswater! #perthstorm #perthhail #perthweather pic.twitter.com/VplhOoOTY5

And this, just because it’s an awesome idea if the rain continues into prime trick-or-treating times.
