As we continue to cop an absolute choking, will the stormy weather forecast actually shift the smoke haze on?
A warning issued on Wednesday for the areas between Jurien Bay to Busselton, including the Perth metro area remains in place.
However, a moderate cold front due to pass over the South West should see the haze thin out from Thursday arvo (from about 4pm) as winds shift north-westerly.
Rain is also forecast, the Bureau saying falls in the range of 5mm to 40mm are expected.
The stormy conditions look like they’re going to stick around for Friday, mostly in the early morning.
