Gather ‘round kids, we’re about to tell you a story about how we used to rent houses back in the day.
It began as a chat in the office about renting a property in the ‘70s and ‘80s… and how incredibly casual it was.
Lisa recalled how it was standard practice to simply drive past a property before rocking up to the agent’s office and ask for the key. We would then be permitted to “let ourselves in for a jolly good look around on our own” before signing a simple lease.
A literal world away from our current hellscape.
