The Bureau has issued a Severe Weather Warning for the south-west corner of the state.
A cold front is bringing heavy falls and winds of about 90km/h between Mandurah and Albany, but that doesn’t mean Perth is going to miss out.
While the city isn’t included in the warning, it’s still expected to get “pretty wet” around midday, especially for our southern suburbs.
“Right around lunchtime will be when the heaviest rain is falling in the city,” duty forecaster Bob Tarr told 96FM.
“We could see about 10 to 25mm and also the chance of a thunderstorm and some gusty winds.”
On Tuesday, the BoM forecasts a possible early storm and showers in the early morning.
