Well, it’s happened.
Someone flicked the switch and, suddenly, Perth’s stereotypical stunning weather is back (just in time to remind footy fans over east what they’re missing out on).
We already know that today (Monday) is an absolute pearler and, like a fine wine, it’s only going to get better.
Tuesday and Wednesday have the beach written all over them with temperatures expected to hit the high 20s before the clouds and cooler conditions round out the work week.
At 25C and sunny, Saturday is looking picture ‘Perthect’ for the AFL Grand Final.
“(Grand Final day) is a pretty nice day. We have offshore winds, and probably not much of a sea breeze. It looks like there is going to be some fairly south-easterly winds at the start of the match,” a spokesman at the Bureau said.
“Mostly sunny skies and mainly clear in the evening as the game goes on, but it won’t be too cold – close to 20C – as the game finishes.
“Just about perfect conditions for sitting outside,” he said.
