Two children have been killed in a car crash in Western Australia.
The collision happened about midday on Monday near Geraldton where a seven-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl died at the scene.
A man in his 30’s received serious injuries and was taken to Geraldton Regional Hospital and is in a critical condition.
Western Australia police said a grey Mazda 3 sedan was travelling southwest on McCartney Road in Georgina when it collided with a silver Ford F250 utility travelling northwest on Edward Road.
The driver and front seat passenger of the Mazda as well as the driver and passenger of the Ford, were taken to Geraldton Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating and major crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, the white Mazda 3, or silver Ford F250 travelling in the area prior to the collision.
Five people were killed on Western Australia’s roads over the long weekend.
