Step aside Big Pineapple, Big Banana and Big Lobster… WA is getting the Big Lollipop.
Ravensthorpe’s Yummylicious Candy Shack will be home to the 7.5-metre structure – which would make it the world’s largest freestanding lollipop.
Owner Belinda McHurg previously told The West that Cold Chisel guitarist Ian Moss had put his name to the petition to make the lollipop a reality.
“He came through six weeks ago on his way to Albany and had one of our American hot dogs and milkshakes, before putting his name down,” she said.
Mossy has since been invited to the September unveiling of the lollipop, as has Prime Minister Scott Morrison and WA Premier Mark McGowan.
