Hundreds of fans have reportedly walked out of a Crusty Demons motorbike show in Sydney because it contained “just five minutes” of stunts.
At $139 a ticket, fans were promised death-defying stunts, pyrotechnics and “one hell of a show”, but instead, were given a show that contained five minutes of tame jumps and a burnout.
“It was a total disaster,” father-of-three Ryan Baker told news.com.au.
“I’ve never been to a worse event in my entire life. Hundreds and hundreds walked out in disgust.
“It was my seven-year-old son’s first-ever motorbike show and it was so boring that he said he never wants to go to one ever again.”

We regret to announce The Crusty Demons have been forced to cancel their first show in Sydney tonight half way through their performance due to the extreme weather. A change in wind direction deemed the event too unsafe to continue. The decision has not been made lightly, management have been monitoring the weather all day. At 4pm the forecast was dropping and riders agreed it was safe to proceed however the change in wind direction has forced them to stop the show. We are extremely aware of the disappointment to our fans who braved the cold weather and came out to support them tonight. Safety of our riders is paramount, nor do we want to deliver a mediocre performance by removing the main stunts. We will be offering all ticket holders a complimentary ticket to any other show on the tour and will look to re-schedule another date in Sydney during the tour run. Thank you all for coming out tonight and supporting the Crusty Demons.
Over 500 people have reportedly complained about the show, with many taking to social media to vent their frustration.
“How do I go about getting a refund for last night’s show ???” one spectator wrote.
Another added, “VIP tickets were an absolute JOKE, worst seats in the venue. You couldn’t see s**t”.
Many complained that the show simply consisted of an hour of “boring interviews” before a five-minute show of stunts.
“YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER !!!,” a fan wrote on Instagram.
“If safety is number 1 the show should have been cancelled no questions!!!! NOW! It’s the fans that make this happen!!! SO YOU GUYS NEED TO OFFER A FULL REFUND! Also consider indoor shows !! ALSO YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER WHETHER IT COMES DOWN TO COST TO YOU OR NOT!! SAFTY IS PARAMOUNT!!!”
None of the attendees have been offered refunds yet, but have been offered tickets to the rescheduled event.
