WA Liberal Leader Zak Kirkup said what we were all thinking on Thursday morning after Facebook followed through on its threat to ban Australians sharing news on its platform in response to a proposed media bargaining code.
Alright time to reactive my MySpace account.

Mr Kirkup’s Facebook page was swept up in Facebook’s ban, while Premier Mark McGowan’s wasn’t. Not ideal in the middle of an election campaign period.
Meanwhile, the original founders of social networking site Bebo are firing up the ol’ cylinders, announcing that they’re relaunching this month.
Bebo operated from 2005 until its bankruptcy in 2013. It subsequently relaunched several times, but maybe the current situation might be the break they need.
“All the old accounts are long gone (probably for the better, though sorry for the old photos!),” the company wrote on their ‘coming soon’ website.
“On the good news front, Trump is banned from Bebo before we’ve even launched. The world really IS moving forward!”
We’ll soon see.
