The Internet has heaped praise on the brave hero who stopped the man accused of going on a stabbing rampage in the Sydney CBD yesterday.
The vigilante, revealed as Luke O’Shaughnessy, was able to thwart the man by helping to slam a milk crate on his head and wrestling him to the ground.
“For us, it was just about restraining him,” Paul O’Shaughnessy told Seven News.
“My brother, he was the hero. He got a grip of him, along with another guy we don’t know, and put a crate on his head.”
Social media lit up with tweets, memes and messages of support for ‘Crate Man’.
